Help UM Women’s Ultimate Reach New Heights This Season!

Dear Our Dearest Family and Friends,

Happy holidays from your favorite college ultimate frisbee team! As we look back on this past year, we are incredibly thankful for the community that supports the University of Miami Women’s Ultimate Frisbee team.

Because of your past generosity and your ongoing support, our program has grown stronger, larger, and more competitive. Today, I’m writing to share some exciting news: this is shaping up to be one of the most promising seasons in our team’s history. We have an amazing class of eight rookies this season who have made incredible progress this fall. We look forward to displaying the team's hard work in the spring. 

Our Vision for 2026

With a roster full of dedicated athletes and a renewed sense of momentum, we have set ambitious goals to put UM Women's Ultimate on the map. This season, we are aiming to:

• Compete in Five Major Tournaments: Travel is our biggest hurdle. We plan to compete in high-level regional tournaments to sharpen our skills against the best teams in the area.

• Host Our First USAU Sanctioned Tournament: This is a huge milestone for our program! Hosting a sanctioned event will bring elite competition to Coral Gables and help grow the sport in South Florida.

• Lower Barriers to Entry: Your support helps cover league dues and jersey costs, ensuring that every athlete can play regardless of their financial situation.

How You Can Help

As a club sport, the majority of our funding comes from player out-of-pocket dues and the kindness of our community. To hit our goals this year, we are looking to raise $2500.

Will you consider making a holiday gift to the team?

• $100 helps fund gas and transportation for a regional away-tournament.

• $250 sponsors a hotel room for a full weekend of competition or a flight to an away tournament.

• $500+ provides the foundational support needed to host our inaugural home tournament.
